  • Hard Surface Modeling: You'll learn how to use ZBrush's tools to create hard surface models, such as weapons, and architecture.
  • Rendering: You'll learn how to add materials and textures to your models, and how to render them using ZBrush's built-in renderer or external software.
  • Portfolio Development: You'll learn how to present your work professionally, including how to create a portfolio and showcase your skills to potential clients and employers.

    Zbrush Introduction in Sculpting

    A basic introduction to sculpting.
    This topic focuses on the basics of sculpting in Pixologic’s Zbrush. The course in this section will go through a few small projects. The student is introduced to the Zbrush interface and tools, as well as brush use and how to modify them. Concepts such as working with creating basic geometry and basic sculpting will be covered. You’ll start with a small project, and then you’ll start on a larger overall project.
    Class length: 2 Weeks

    Basic Sculpting in Zbrush
    Use sculpting techniques in Pixologic’s Zbrush to create models
    This topic focuses on using basic environmental and hard surface sculpting techniques for games, film, and 3D printing. Students will create Basic environmental and hard surface models. Once you have a strong grasp of the fundamentals, you will continue your Zbrush project by learning about using multiple Subtools, looking at a new way to create geometry, and adding detail.
    Class length: 6 Weeks

    Advanced Sculpting in Zbrush

    Use Advance sculpting techniques in Pixologic’s Zbrush to create models or 3D printable models.
    This topic focuses on using advanced environmental and hard surface sculpting techniques for games, film, and 3D printing. This course will give you some tips and tricks for sculpting a faster and more efficient way in Zbrush and will show you the toolset of Zmodeler, Dynamesh, Zremesher, nanomesh, Panel Loops, and working with layer management. Production workflows such as importing, exporting, and advanced workflow of symmetry techniques are also covered.           
    Class length: 4 Weeks
    Course Requirement: Advanced 3D modeling in Maya, Basic Sculpting in Zbrush

    Digital and Organic Sculpting in Zbrush
    Learn the techniques of carving and organic nature prop sculpt 
    This topic focuses on an incredible tool for organic modeling and sculpting such as carving, cloths, and tree sculpting. This course goes over many of those tools and features using an advanced organic-based project. We’ll talk about methods for doing carving techniques, cloth techniques, brush modification, and creating your brushes. Students will be able to quickly create stylized environment assets. In this course, students will learn Sculpt stylized rocks, organic nature props, and landscape assets.
